Dora Moore K-8 School Hosts First Annual 'Conference On Kids' On Jan. 27 To Address Developmental And Educational Issues Facing Elementary And Middle School Students

Dora Moore K-8 School is proud to present its first annual Conference on KIDS from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27 at the school, 846 Corona St.

The Conference on KIDS was designed for parents and community members interested in learning more about developmental and educational issues facing children ages four to 14. Noted regional experts in the areas of social, emotional and physical development will participate in this fun and informative event.

The evening will begin with a light dinner offered at a reasonable price by Dora Moore's eighth-grade trip fundraising committee. Following the dinner there will be two 45-minute sessions, one for adults and another for middle school-aged children, with four concurrent offerings each session. Childcare will be provided for children ages two to 11.
