Denver Botanical Gardens To Host Denver School Of The Arts Wind Ensemble Performance On Jan. 10 And DSA Jazz Workshop Performance On Jan. 12
Two Denver School of the Arts music ensembles will perform for the "Blossoms of Light" celebration at the Denver Botanical Gardens.
The DSA Wind Ensemble will perform on Monday, Jan. 10 and the DSA Jazz Workshop on Wednesday, Jan. 12. Performances will be held both nights from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Mitchell Hall, 909 York St.
In addition to this performance, the Wind Ensemble was selected to perform at this year's Music Education Association statewide convention later in January.
The DSA Jazz Workshop recently has been featured on KUVO radio and at last year's "Essentially Ellington" high school jazz competition in New York City hosted by Wynton Marsalis.
