Board Of Education Meeting Agendas For Thursday, Jan. 6

The Board of Education will hold a work session, public comment session and regular meeting on Thursday, Jan. 6 at the administration building, 900 Grant St.

Following is a review of agenda highlights:

4 p.m. Work Session, Room 706 (Some items may not be considered until after the regular meeting and public comment session.)

  1. Review Board agenda
  2. Personnel (closed)
  3. DPS Long-Term Financial Forecast

5 p.m. Regular Meeting, first floor Board Room

  1. Motion to approve contract for structured cabling at Carson, Cory, McKinley-Thatcher and Samuels elementary schools, Denison Montessori and Thomas Jefferson High School.
  2. Motion to approve contract for synthetic turf and track surface projects at Abraham Lincoln, East, Montbello and Thomas Jefferson high schools.
  3. Motion to approve recommending changing Gilpin, Mitchell, Whittier, Columbine and Harrington to ECE-8 schools.
  4. Pending (old business): revitalization plans for Montclair Elementary School and Hill Middle School.

6 p.m. Public Comment Session
