Asbury Elementary School Opens Art Show Jan. 15 To Benefit Victims Of Tsunami

Sixty student artists from ASBURY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL are raising money for the children of Sumatra by selling their artwork during a show that will run through January at Kaladi Brothers, a neighborhood coffee shop that has donated its wall space to the art show. Opening night is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15 at the coffee shop, 1730 E. Evans Ave. (at Williams and Evans streets). Asbury students studied printmaking and pulled reproductions of their prints to sell for only $10 each. All proceeds will go to helping the children of the tsunami. Asbury Elementary School is located at 1320 E. Asbury Ave. The school's phone number is 303-722-4695.
