Stedman Elementary School Will Host Community Meeting Tuesday, Jan. 11 To Discuss Revitalization Efforts
Stedman Elementary School will host a Community Forum Tuesday, Jan. 11 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. to provide the community with an update on the revitalization plan being developed for the school.
Childcare will be provided. Stedman Elementary School is located at 2940 Dexter St. The school's telephone number is 303-322-7781.
The Board of Education in March identified 13 schools eligible to tap $2.5 million targeted for the revitalization campaign that was envisioned under the 2003 mill levy election (a $20 million annual tax increase approved by voters).
Each school's revitalization effort is being overseen by a revitalization committee including school staff, parents and community members.
The schools are Bradley, Brown, Ford, Gilpin, Montclair, Remington, Sabin and Stedman elementary schools and Cole, Henry, Hill, Martin Luther King, Jr. and Skinner middle schools. (Cole Middle School's ongoing reforms were started in 2002-2003.)
