Baker Middle School Students To Plant Tulips For Red Ribbon Week
Baker Middle School students will plant 280 tulip bulbs on Wednesday, Nov. 10 in honor of Red Ribbon Week. The tulips will blossom in the Spring, reminding students of their commitment to a drug-free life.
In exchange for singing a card to commit to a drug-free life, each student will receive a tulip to plant along the front of the school. Classes will go out by grade level and plant the tulips from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Red Ribbon Week is a national effort to promote a drug-free lifestyle.
