P.S.1 Charter School And LIDA Project To Present Student Original Theatrical Performance Of "Nations In Peaces: The Legacy Of The Sand Creek Massacre" From Dec. 7-11
P.S.1 Charter School and the LIDA Project proudly present the world premier of the theatre performance "Nations in Peaces: The Legacy of the Sand Creek Massacre" from Tuesday, Dec. 7 through Saturday, Dec. 11.
Performances will be held Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Matinee performances will also be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. All performances are at the LIDA Project (2180 Stout St).
Nations in Peaces is a thought-provoking, image-based theatre piece written by students in 2003. It explores the legacy of the Sand Creek Massacre. The show contains mature subject matter and describes graphic violence. Parental guidance is strongly suggested.
All proceeds from the performances will go to the school and to help support the theatre arts program.
