Board Of Education Agendas For Thursday, Nov. 18

The Board of Education will hold a work session and a Regular Meeting on Thursday, Nov. 18 at the administration building, 900 Grant St.

Following are the key agenda items:

4 P.M. Work Session, RooM 706 (Please note some items may not be considered until after the regular meeting)

1. Review Board agenda
2. Proposed 2005-2006 schools calendar
3. Charter school recommendations
4. Negotiations / legal (closed)

5 p.m. Regular Meeting, first floor Board Room

1. Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the year ending June 30, 2004
2. New business:
   1. Expansion of Denver School of the Arts at Byers facility
   2. Recommendations for changes to elementary schools in the Cole Middle School feeder system
   3. Recommendation to temporarily add grade six to Westerly Creek Elementary School, pending the opening of a new school in 2007
   4. Revitalization plan for Brown Elementary School
   5. Staff recommendations for 2005-2006 school year calendar
