Rosedale Elementary School Announces Annual Chili Night and Book Fair Featuring Author Vickie Leigh Krudwig Friday, Oct. 15
The public is invited to join Rosedale Elementary School for its annual free Chili Night/Book Fair from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15.
Vickie Leigh Krudwig, author of "Cucumber Soup," will be talking about her new book "Searching for Chipeta." Krudwig's new book is about a Ute Indian girl and is designed especially for students studying Colorado history. She has traveled over 5,000 miles, plus taken a trip to the Uintah-Ouray Reservation.
There will be about 14 varieties of different homemade chili recipes to try, along with cornbread, chips and cookies.
