Mayor John Hickenlooper Helps Launch Post-News Kids Care Philanthropy Program Wednesday, Oct. 6 At Samuels Elementary School
WHO: Denver Newspaper Agency President Kirk MacDonald; Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper; Denver Public Schools Superintendent Jerry Wartgow; and Daniels Fund President and Chief Executive Officer Hank Brown
WHAT: The establishment of the new "Kids Care" curriculum for Denver Public Schools. More than 200 classrooms already are involved.

WHY: Kids Care, produced by Post-News Educational Services and Post-News Community and sponsored by Daniels Fund, is designed to be a foundational curriculum for all grades with the goal of creating understanding about philanthropy and the nonprofit sector.
