East High School Color Guard To Open and Close Election Day Voting at City and County Building Tuesday, Nov. 2; 1,000 JROTC Cadets To March In Veterans Day Parade Saturday, Nov. 6

Command Sergeant Major Evan Rogers and the East High School Color Guard will open Election Day voting at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2 at Denver's City and County Building downtown by posting the colors, leading the Pledge of Allegiance and singing the national anthem. The unit will return to close voting at 6:45 p.m.

Later in the week, 1,000 JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps) cadets will march in Denver's Veterans Day Parade at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6 at Civic Center Park. The DPS JROTC is the largest contingent in the parade and will march with the escort division, 10th in line from the start.
