North High School To Celebrate First Annual Performing Arts Festival On Oct. 28

North High School will celebrate the first annual Performing Arts Festival at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28 in the school auditorium at 2960 N. Speer Blvd. Admission to this event is free. All community members are welcome.

The festival will include dance, theatre, instrumental and vocal music

as well as a performance from the JROTC.

"It's a medley of all the performing arts here at North High School," said Jose Mercado, drama teacher at North. "It's our first attempt to bring all the arts together into a single event, so we hope it will be a success."
