Remington Elementary School To Hold First Annual Fall Art Show On Friday, Oct. 29
Remington Elementary School will hold its first annual Fall Art Show from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29 at the school, 4735 Pecos St. The school extends its invitation to all who would like to attend.
The event will showcase colorful pieces of student artwork along with the songs and literature that have inspired them. The pieces will be displayed throughout the main level of the school. In addition, students are invited to attend a Halloween carnival and to go through a Haunted Maze with adult supervision.
The main attraction is set to be a procession of life-sized skeletons dressed in costume in celebration of el Día de los Muertos (Tuesday. Nov. 2), a Latina American celebration of the lives of loved-ones who have passed.
