"Blankets, Books And Baskets" At Dora Moore K-8 School Thursday, Oct. 14
Students at Dora Moore K-8 School will have an opportunity on Thursday, Oct. 14 to feed their minds, bodies and spirits in the 4th Annual Family Reading Night theme event, "Blankets, Books and Baskets."
Families will begin their evening at 5:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria by enjoying a picnic basket dinner. The event will move to the auditorium for entertainment from "Sam the Storyteller." Next, families will relax on blankets and enjoy a family reading session. Students and parents can swap or choose books in the teacher book give-away. The evening will culminate with a raffle of a picnic basket filled with treasured books.
