DPS Credit Union Invites Students To Enter DPSCU's 2004 Holiday Art Contest

The DPS Credit Union (DPSCU) invites students to participate in the annual Corporate Holiday Art Contest. This year's theme is "What the Winter Holidays Mean to Me."

The contest winner will bring home $50 and have his or her artwork published on the DPSCU 2004 corporate holiday card. The winning student's teacher also will receive a $50 prize.

The top five runners-up will receive $25 and, along with the winner, will have their art displayed in the DPSCU lobby throughout the month of December. By entering the contest, all students give their permission to have their pictures published if chosen.

The contest rules are as follows:

  1. Art should be on white paper, 8.5" x 11".
  2. Art should be flat; no three-dimensional art. Crayons, colored pencils and watercolor all are acceptable mediums.
  3. Art should not have any pre-printed borders, etc. around the edges. The entire 8.5" x 11" sheet should only contain the child's artwork.
  4. Students are encouraged to use a winter theme for the holiday card.
  5. Students will write a couple of sentences about "What the Winter Holidays Mean to Me" on the back of their artwork.
  6. Each entry must have the student's name, age, school and classroom written on the back of the entry.
  7. All artwork must be received by Friday, November 5, 2004.

Please submit artwork to DPS Credit Union, 98 Spruce St., Denver, CO 80230, Attn: Marketing Department. For more information, contact Shannon Ellis at 720-921-3052.
