Homework Hotline Kicks Off Monday, Sept. 13

Denver Public Schools announces this year's start of Colorado's Homework Hotline. The hotline will start receiving calls at 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 13. Parents, tutors and students alike are encouraged to call with homework questions from all grade levels (K-12) and curriculum areas.

Homework Hotline has been around for 18 years and receives upwards of 600 calls a night and services over 110,000 students annually from across the state.

Staffed by certified teachers, the hotline helps callers with homework questions about math, science, language arts and other areas. Teachers and principals also can use the hotline as a research tool.

The hotline can be reached locally at 303-322-PASS (7277) and outside the metro area at 800-825-PASS from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday during the school year.
