Board Of Education Meeting Agendas For Thursday, august 5

The Board of Education will hold a work session, public comment and regular meeting on Thursday, August 5 at the administration building, 900 Grant St.

Following is a review of agenda highlights:

4 p.m. - Work Session, Room 706 (Please note some items may not be considered until after the regular meeting)

  1. Review of Board meeting agenda items
  2. Negotiations/real estate (closed)
  3. DPS - PERA merger update
  4. CSAP results
  5. Cole charter school process

5 p.m. - Regular Meeting, first floor Board Room

  1. A motion to approve the right to join a diesel fuel purchase from Gray Oil Inc. to the Regional Transportation District.
  2. Two motions to approve related contracts for structured cabling at 28 schools.
  3. A motion to approve literacy material purchases through Ingram Library Services.
  4. A motion to approve agreement with the Association of Building, Grounds and Warehouse Service Personnel.
  5. A motion to retain exclusive authority to authorize charter schools in the City and Count of Denver.
  6. A motion to approve a contract with the City of Denver for Denver's Great Kids Head Start program.

7 p.m. - Public Hearing, first floor Board Room
