Students May Enroll Through June 23 In Free Summer Classes To Prepare For GED Test

The DPS GED program is offering two free summer classes through Wednesday June 23 for students who want study for the General Equivalency Diploma (GED) test. Students must be between 17 and 21 years old.

Classes are offered Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at East High School and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at CEC Middle College of Denver.

Students may register anytime through June 23 at either school or by calling Rosalie J. Martinez, GED program, 303-964-2983.

East High School is located at 1545 Detroit St. CEC Middle College of Denver is located at 2650 Eliot St.
 
The primary mission of the GED program is to provide high school age students with the knowledge necessary to pass the state mandated GED test and obtain a General Equivalency Diploma.
