Student Art On Display At Sixth Annual “Gallery Walk” In Cherry Creek North For Bromwell Elementary School; Event Is Thursday, May 6

On Thursday, May 6 Bromwell Elementary School will be hold its sixth annual Gallery Walk in Cherry Creek North.

All 13 art classes have created a work of art to be on display at a different art gallery in the area. Maps are available in advance at Bromwell and at Shaver-Ramsey Fine Rugs, 2414 East Third Ave., or at any of the galleries on the day of the tour. Watch for yellow balloons. This is a free event for the whole family.

Classes visited their adopted gallery in March and then returned to their art classroom to create 13 unique works of art. The theme for this year's tour is art and nature. Finished pieces include a bumble bee sculpture made from a hard hat, a string of colored lights, an undersea 3D collage and much more. Galleries included are: Shaver-Ramsey Fine Rugs, Gallerie Rouge, Rice Gallery, Fascination St. Gallery, Show of Hands Gallery, Artisan Center, Sophia George Gallery, Galleries Extraordinaire, Gallery M, Patron's Art Gallery, Royce Galleries, West SouthWest Gallery and Pismo Contemporary Art Glass.

All of the art will be auctioned off on Saturday, May 8 at the “Bid It Up For Bromwell” auction at Fillmore Plaza.
