The Board of Education is seeking parents, teachers and community members to serve on the Construction Advisory Committee, an eight- to ten-member committee that will play a major role in deciding the appearance of the renovation.

The committee will start meeting in late June and finish work in about eight weeks. 

If you are interested, send your letter of interest to the Board of Education by Monday, June 7.

In your letter, please:

• Include your name, address and telephone number.
• Indicate you are applying for “Byers site.”
• Indicate the membership category for which you are applying - parent, Denver resident, or teacher.
• If you are a parent, include the names of your child or children and where they go to school.
• Include the name of the neighborhood or community organization you represent, if any.
• State the reasons why you believe you should be appointed.
