Third- and fourth-grade students at Brown Elementary School will wrap up their semester of work with Ricki Harada, an artist-in-residence and professional dancer, with a hip hop dance performance at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 20 at the school.

Representatives from the Honda Corporation, which provided a grant through Young Audiences to place the artist-in-residence at Brown, will be on hand to present $5,000 to the school to support art programs. Young Audiences works with educational systems, the arts community and the private and public sectors to make the arts an essential part of all children's education.

Tomorrow's event also will include a performance by Harada and drummer Dan Egger-Blandria.
