North, John F. Kennedy High Schools Send Teams To Destination Imagination Global Finals 2004

“The Procrastinators” from North High School and the “Inside Jokers” from John F. Kennedy High School earned a trip to the Global Finals in the Destination ImagiNation tournament by picking up second-place finishes in the state competition on Saturday, April 24.

The DestiNation Imagination Global Finals will be held at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee from May 25-30.

The North High School team competed in an event called Cartoon Dimensions; the John F. Kennedy High School team competed in an event called Plot and the Pendulum.

North High School’s team included team members Katie Johnson, Sarah Taylor, Josh Mangiagli, Bo Blogett and team managers Cheryl Johnson and Louise West.

John F. Kennedy’s team included team members Sophia Moore, Talia Moore, Bryan Boling, Brandon Boling, Michael Webber, Scott Webber and team managers Kayoko Moore and Erik Moore.

Destination ImagiNation is designed to help students develop a unique and critical skill set by emphasizing creativity, problem solving, and teamwork.
