The Young Authors Conference will be held Thursday, April 22 at Temple Emanuel, 51 Grape St.

Books written and illustrated by students in 68 elementary schools across the district will gather to display their work. Entertainment will be provided by storytellers Sam Thornham and Vern Remple. Refreshments will be served.

The morning session (schools beginning with the letters A - G) will run from 8:30-11 a.m.; the afternoon session (for schools from H - Z will run from 12:30-3 p.m.

The event will be attended by the student authors and illustrators, their families, teachers and principals.
