The Denver School of the Arts Jazz Workshop Orchestra presents the Essential Energy Concert and Silent Auction at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 14 at the school. Tickets are $5 and are available at the school or at the door. The concert will feature Ellington music and special guests.

The Jazz Workshop Orchestra appeared on 9News this morning and has been chosen as one of 15 high school bands to compete at the Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Festival in New York in May. The JWO is the only band from Colorado chosen to compete.
