Mayor John Hickenlooper, Denver Classroom Teachers Association (DCTA) President Becky Wissink and Denver Board of Education President Les Woodward will hold a news conference at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 9 (TODAY) on the front steps of East High School, 1545 Detroit St. (Colfax & Detroit streets).

Speakers will express support for the ProComp pay system, which will be voted on by DCTA members later this week. ProComp is a pay system designed to increase teachers’ pay through a variety of opportunities.
