Schenck and Munroe elementary schools will honor their hard-working faculty with a first-ever celebration dance from 7:30 p.m. to midnight today (Friday, March 26) at the Hilton Denver Tech South Hotel, 7801 E. Orchard Road. Entertainment will be provided by York Street, featuring Munroe’s very own first-grade teacher Turi Gustafson.

School staff, members of the schools’ Collaborative School Committees, representatives of the Parent Advisory Committee and significant others are invited (the cost for significant others is $12).

“This is a general thank you for a job well done,” said Ana Garcia-Gustafson, principal of Schenck Elementary School. “Faculty and staff will be putting on their dancing shoes and party duds to celebrate each other and all of the wonderful things teachers do everyday to help their students learn and be successful members of our community. Everyone is counting on a fun-filled, well-deserved celebration.”
