Pizza Party With Principal To Honor First 25 Students To Read One Million Words At Dora Moore K-8

Students at Dora Moore K-8 School who have already read one million words will be rewarded with a Pizza Party at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 2. Principal T. Jason Martinez has invited the first 25 students who have read 1,000,000 words to have pizza and book conversations with him in the Community Plaza in front of the school.

Dora Moore launched its Million Words Campaign in September with an evening under the stars. Readers “reach for the stars” as they mark their progress toward the million-word goal by placing their names on drawings of flowers for 250,000 words, trees for 500,000, clouds for 750,000, and finally stars featuring their pictures for one million words.

Look for the tent and stop by to help Dora Moore K-8 School celebrate its million word readers!

Dora Moore K-8 is located at 846 Corona St. For more information, please contact Jason Martinez, principal, at 303-831-7044.
