Snell & Wilmer's T.H.A.N.K.S. Program Rallies Community Behind Educational Outreach Program; Voting Continues Downtown This Week And Online Through Sunday, March 28

People crowded in awe around a new collection of art displayed at the Park Central building yesterday. The art, a traveling tour of images that say “thanks,” was created by children ages five to 11 who participate in the Educational Outreach Program and other Denver Public Schools after-school programs for Snell & Wilmer's T.H.A.N.K.S. (Through Healing Art, Needy Kids Succeed) program.

Display visitors are voting for their favorite pictures. The most popular images will become a set of greeting cards that will go on sale in mid-April at both Tattered Cover Book Store locations and the Educational Outreach Program office. Snell & Wilmer has arranged for 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of the cards to go directly to the Educational Outreach Program to help use education to break the cycle of poverty.

The tour continues through the end of the week at the following locations:

  • Wednesday, March 24 - Bank One Building (17th and Lawrence in the building's lobby)
  • Thursday, March 25 - Tabor Center Office Tower (17th and Lawrence, near Saxby's Coffee)
  • Friday, March 26 - Tabor Center Retail Space (16th Street Mall between Lawrence and Larimer, specific location TBD)

Those unable to view the art in person are encouraged to view the images and submit their votes online before Sunday, March 28. To access the site, simply visit www.swlaw.com and click on the Snell & Wilmer T.H.A.N.K.S. item in the News Section on the homepage.
