The Board of Education is seeking interested parents, teachers and community members to serve on the Master Planning Committee, a committee of 15 to 20 members who will help advise the district on the future master plan for the North High School complex (including Valdez Elementary School).

The committee will start meeting in April and will finish work in about four months.

If you are interested, send your letter of interest to the Board of Education by Thursday, April 8. In your letter, please include your name, address and telephone number. Please indicate that you are applying for “North High Master Planning Committee” and the membership category for which you are applying - parent, Denver resident or teacher. If you are a parent, include the names of your child or children and where they attend school (North High School or Valdez Elementary School). Also, please include the name of the neighborhood or community organization you represent, if any. And, finally, please state the reasons why you believe you should be appointed.
