Rosedale Elementary School To Hold Third Annual "Family Fun Night" Winter Carnival

Rosedale Elementary School will host its third annual "Family Fun Night" from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20. The event will raise money for school activities and give students and the community an opportunity to have a night of fun and entertainment.

The students at Rosedale work hard every year in academics, sports and various programs. The school has planned this evening to be a special time for everyone to have fun.

The night will be filled with a wide variety of activities for students, parents, teachers and community members to enjoy.

Some of the events include a face painting, spin art, a clown with balloon animals, a bean bag toss and many more. The Student Council will have a candy booth. Food and soda pop will also be sold.

Proceeds from the event will be used to help support learning activities and enrichment programs at the school, such as field trips to the Denver Symphony. Some of the proceeds will support special school projects.

The Title I, English Language Acquisition and Sylvan At-School Information Night will also be held from 5 to 5:30 p.m. in the Library. A “Dance Recital” presented by the ECE through fifth-grade students and physical education teacher Robert Auday will take place from 5:30 to 5 p.m. in the gym.

All events are at Rosedale Elementary School, 2330 S. Sherman St. The school’s telephone number is 303-744-2381.
