Paraprofessionals And Teacher Apprentices: Learn How To Earn A Degree At Informational Meetings Sponsored By UNC and DPS

All paraprofessionals and teacher apprentices who want to become teachers are invited to attend any one of six informational meetings hosted by the University of Northern Colorado and Denver Public Schools on how to earn your Bachelor’s Degree.

At the meeting, you will learn about a partner program that enables you to combine work as a paraprofessional/teacher apprentice with a full-time, four-year college degree program.

The six upcoming meetings will be held at different locations. The first five meetings start at 4:15 p.m. and run until 5:15 p.m. The dates and locations are:

  • Tuesday, March 9 at Philips Elementary School (6550 E. 21st Ave.)
  • Wednesday, March 10 at Maxwell Elementary School (14390 E. Bolling Drive)
  • Thursday, March 11 at Ellis Elementary School (1651 S. Dahlia St.)
  • Tuesday, March 16 at Schmitt Elementary School (1820 S. Vallejo St.)
  • Wednesday, March 17 at Brown Elementary School (2550 Lowell Blvd.)

The final meeting begins at 5 p.m. and runs until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24 at the Center for Urban Education (1061 Akron Way).
