South High School’s Peace Week Ends Today At Burglarized Animal Shelter

At 3:30 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 27), students from South High School will deliver a week’s worth of items collected during Peace Week to benefit the Colorado Humane Society/SPCA. Pet food, blankets, towels and pet toys for homeless dogs and cats are among the items students will bring to the shelter -- the same one victimized by a burglary last week.

South High School is located at 1700 E. Louisiana Ave. The school’s phone number is 303-698-6100. The Colorado Humane Society shelter is located at 2760 S. Platte River Drive in Englewood.
