Board Of Education Agendas For Thursday, Feb. 19

The Board of Education will hold a work session and a Regular Meeting on Thursday, Feb. 19 at the administration building, 900 Grant St.

Following are the tentative work session agenda items and key agenda items:

4 p.m. - Work Session, Room 706 (please note some items may not be considered until after the Regular Meeting)

  1. Review Board Consent Agenda
  2. High School Transportation
  3. Negotiations (closed)

5 p.m. - Regular Meeting, first floor Board Room

  1. Ratification of the tentative agreement between DPS and the Denver Classroom Teachers Association for the proposed Professional Compensation System for Teachers (ProComp)
  2. Approval of motion to award 3M Security Systems as the vendor to furnish and install library media security systems
  3. Approval of motion to implement the elementary arts program recommendations as proposed by the DPS Elementary Arts Accountability Committee on Feb. 5
  4. Motion to approve a plan on the future of Ebert Elementary School (recommendations were presented Feb. 5)
  5. Motion to approve the relocation of the Polaris Program at Crofton Elementary School to Ebert Elementary School (recommendations were presented Feb. 5)
  6. Motion to amend the Northeast Academy Charter School contract
  7. Review of the semi-annual grants report
  8. Report on the implementation of an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme at Bradley Elementary School
