“What Would You Buy With $100?” Among Student Tasks Planned For Fairview Elementary School’s 100th Day Of School

Fairview Elementary School kindergarten and first-graders will celebrate the 100th day of the school year on Monday, Feb. 2. Several activities are planned - all of which center on the number 100.

The events begin at 9:30 a.m. Students will consider what they will look like at 100 and what they would buy with $100. They’ll also do math to 100 and an M&M color graph. From 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. kindergarten and first-grade combined activities will include 100 Day Read Alouds, dividing into groups of 10, different ways to count to 100, doing 100 jumping jacks and observing 100 seconds of silence.

For more information, contact Denyse Anderson, Fairview Elementary School, at 303-623-7193. The school is located at 2715 W. 11th Ave.
