| The Wyman Historic District is putting on a Chocolate Lover’s Progressive Tea Party. The event takes place on Sunday Feb. 1 and runs from 1 to 4 p.m. The cost is $30.00 per person and advanced reservations are required. The proceeds will go toward establishing a computer lab at Wyman Elementary School. The event will include tours of the Castle Marne (1572 Race St.), Adagio (1430 Race St.) and Holiday Chalet (1820 E. Colfax Ave.) bed and breakfasts and the Fletcher-Haynes House (1420 Gilpin).
Student artwork will be for sale at the Castle Marne. Groups of up to 20 will gather at a pre-arranged house for the first course of the tea. After about 45 minutes, volunteers will lead the group to another house. Each house will be filled with tea and treats including low-carbohydrate chocolate for chocolate lovers on the Atkins Diet. To make reservations call 303-331-0621.
