Denver Public Schools seeks a self-motivated individual committed to youth to serve as an AmeriCorps Promise Fellow in the DPS Office of Community Partnership. The individual will be employed by AmeriCorps but will work in the DPS Office of Community Partnership.

Responsibilities include supervision of an after-school tutoring program, program development, working with students and schools and community building. This is a full-time position for the duration of one year. Benefits received through the AmeriCorps Program include a living allowance, health insurance and an education award.

AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs that engage more than 50,000 Americans each year in intensive service to meet critical needs in education, public safety, health, and the environment. AmeriCorps members serve through more than 2,100 nonprofits, public agencies and faith-based organizations.
