| The Board of Education will hold a work session and a Regular Meeting on Thursday, Jan. 22 at the administration building, 900 Grant St.
Following are the tentative work session agenda items and key agenda items:
4 p.m. - Work Session, Room 706 (please note some items may not be considered until after the Regular Meeting)

2. Executive Session (closed)
3. Resource Allocation Methodology (RAM) Follow-Up
4. Curriculum Guidelines
5 p.m. - Regular Meeting, first floor Board Room
1. Approval of a series of policies that would govern district purchasing - purchasing authority, petty cash, cooperative purchasing, bidding procedures, sales calls and demonstrations. These issues are now only addressed in published procedures, not Board policy.
2. Construction Contract - The Board will be asked to approve the construction contract for the Emily Griffith Opportunity School Aircraft Training Center project.
3. Pupil Assignment Plan: New Green Valley Ranch/Montbello Charter School - The Board will take action on the proposed plan for assigning students to the new Green Valley Ranch/Montbello Charter School.
4. Plan for Implementation of Early Education Mill Levy Initiative and the 2004-2005 ECE and Extended-Day Kindergarten Program - The Board will take action on the proposed plan for implementation of the early education component of the mill levy proposal.
5. Pupil Assignment Plan Revisions: Revised Assignment of a Cole Middle School area to Randolph Middle School - The Board will take action on the proposed revision to the Pupil Assignment Plan reassigning students residing in a Cole Middle School area to Bruce Randolph Middle School.
The Board meeting also will include a performance from Barnum Elementary School Tai Kwon Do students, recognition of teachers who have earned National Board Certification and introduction of Renee Archer, Executive Director of Student Services.
