Denver’s Distance Learning Network Brings Colonial Williamsburg To Classrooms

DPS students can now interact live with Colonial Williamsburg experts in Virginia through electronic field trips airing on the DPS Distance Learning Network. These live interactive television programs on channel 48 air on the following Thursdays: Jan. 15, Feb. 12, March 11 and April 15.

The titles include: The Rare Breeds, Flames of Freedom, A “Publick” Education, and Mr. Alderson’s Farm. Taped replays of the program will air on DPS channels 22 and 48 at 4 p.m. the Friday, Saturday and Sunday following each live version.
