The creation of this fund will help us address the extraordinary music needs in our 148 elementary, middle and high schools. The KBCO Music Education Fund will provide us with a unique way to highlight the important role music can and should play in every student’s life,” said Steve Katich, President of the Denver Public Schools Foundation.
The money generated through the 97.3 KBCO Music Education Fund will help the School District purchase additional instruments, equipment, books and materials for its 72,000 students.
