The Board of Education will hold a work session and a Regular Meeting on Thursday, Dec. 18 at the administration building, 900 Grant St.

Following are the tentative work session agenda items and key legislative agenda items:

1. Policy Revision - Advisory Committees/Councils
2. Policy Revision - Flag Displays
3. Policy Revision - Entrance Age Requirements
4. Policy Revision - Harassment Based on Race or Color, National Origin, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Disability, or Religion
5. Architect Selections - new Montbello K-8 school, new Green Valley Ranch K-8 school, new Stapleton Bus Terminal project, and new CEC Middle Collage of Denver Addition project.
6. Resolution - Equal Educational Opportunity - The Board of Education affirms its commitment to English Language Learners to provide and maintain appropriate educational programs and services to help them overcome language barriers that impede participation in the instructional program.
7. Motion to Approve the Merger Agreement between PERA, DPSRS and School District No. 1 - The Board of Education will act to authorize the merger agreement between the Public Employees Retirement Association, Denver Public Schools Retirement System and School District No. 1.

The Board will also hear a performance from the University Park Elementary School students and recognize the principals of schools ranked “excellent” and “high” under School Accountability Ratings by the state.
