Families and friends of McKinley-Thatcher Elementary School will receive a lovely gift on Thursday, Dec. 18 - the gift of music.

For the past eight years, McKinley-Thatcher’s fourth- and fifth-grade teachers (Barbara Mayes and Brenda Dockery) and their students have entertained the school community with wonderful programs of song, story and dance. This year’s holiday program, “The Joy of Giving,” will feature songs and stories from many traditions with instrumental accompaniment provided by members of the choir. The evening promises to be another evening guaranteed to warm the hearts and put holiday smiles on the faces of all those who attend.

Please join the McKinley-Thatcher Elementary School community in the all-purpose room at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18 to celebrate the “Joy of Giving” and the joy of music.
