| On Thursday, Dec, 18, Gove Middle School will celebrate character education with seventh-grade students performing their own skits, songs, and readings.
The performance will be for parents and Gove students beginning at 1 p.m. Charles Elbot and Dave Fulton from the DPS Character Education office will attend and help celebrate Gove's character education successes.
"Our focus on building student character is vital to improving student academics,” said Gove principal Larry Tarver. “It’s important for all students to understand how good character impacts their learning and their life.”
Nine students will be recognized for “outstanding acts of character,” said Tarver.
