Beach Court Elementary School will host the first of three Family Literacy Night sessions tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 5) from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. The evening is courtesy of Community Resources Inc.

Dinner will be served, and children will receive free books. There will be door prizes and a drawing for two bicycles during the February Literacy Night for families who attend all three sessions.

Tonight's topic is “Why read with your children?” The next sessions are January 14 (“Getting Your Child To Have Fun With Reading”) and February 18 (“Choosing A Good Book For Your Child”).
