Young Artists From Cheltenham, West Will Be Celebrated Friday, Nov. 7

As part of the First Friday Art Walk on Friday, Nov. 7, Nine10Arts will host a community celebration and reception for young artists from Butterfly Hope, an art and nature program at Cheltenham Elementary School, with students from West High School. Students will be exhibiting and selling art from their respective programs.

Highlights of the evening include the exhibit and sale of original print work and paintings created by Butterfly Hope participants and drawings, paper portraits, jewelry, sculptural candle snuffers, copper candle holders, pottery and other mixed media art created by students at West High School.

Butterfly Hope is an educational program that provides experiences for young children to explore the natural world and express their creativity in a caring and supportive environment. The program works with over 200 children, ages 5-12, at Cheltenham Elementary School.

The Opening Reception will run from 6 – 9 p.m. at Nine10Arts, 910 Santa Fe Dr. For more information, contact Cheryl Spector at 303-333-3274.
