| The Denver School of the Arts Vocal Music Department will present its 1st Annual Madrigal Dinner on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7 – 8 at 6 p.m. in the commons at the school. Tickets are $25 and include dinner and entertainment.
Come feast on cheddar cheese spread, leg of chicken, sausages, shredded pork on rolls, baked potato bathed in beef burgundy sauce, corn cobblets, a parade of vegetables (pickled and otherwise), desserts of the British Isles, mulled cider and hot tea. Entertainment will be provided by two of DSA's vocal music ensembles, 4 Squared and Bellissima.
Freshman and Sophomore level girls are singers in Bellissima (Italian word meaning "the most beautiful”). This group is comprised of approximately twenty singers and performs three- and four-part choral music. The choir sings advanced repertoire for women. 4 Squared is a sixteen-voice group which performs a demanding eclectic repertoire. They frequently perform at conventions, schools, special events and festivals throughout the Metro Denver area. This group is open by audition only to all high school students at DSA.
