| Edgar Flores, a fifth-grade student at Stedman Elementary School, has won the Crescent Realty Holiday Card Contest with his theme, "If I were Santa, I would decorate the world.” His portrayal will be the cover of Crescent’s holiday card, which will be sent to approximately 7,000 business partners and customers.
Flores will receive a $100 savings bond for his efforts, and the school will receive a $100 gift card to purchase art supplies. Flores and his family will be honored at a family reading night at Stedman on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
Crescent Realty has developed a three-year partnership with Stedman Elementary School through its FACES of Change program - a community partnership through education founded and facilitated by Crescent Real Estate Equities for the purpose of helping children and strengthening schools. Through FACES of Change, customers, employees and business partners of Crescent properties form three-year partnerships that encourage and support outstanding elementary schools in their communities. Since 1997 more than 50 schools across the nation have benefited from a FACES of Change partnership.
Currently there are two FACES of Change partnerships in Denver - Wyatt-Edison Charter School and Stedman Elementary School. Wyatt Edison Charter School is partnered with several Cherry Creek Crescent properties; Stedman Elementary School is partnered with Crescent’s downtown Denver properties.
