On Thursday Nov. 21, McKinley-Thatcher Elementary School will host its annual Thanksgiving luncheon and Arts and Crafts Fair. In addition to a delicious lunch with turkey and all the trimmings, those attending will be able to purchase beautiful homemade arts and crafts offered by ten different artisans.

The Thanksgiving luncheon will begin at 11:30, with the first seating scheduled for morning kindergarten students, students in grades 3-5, and guests. At 12:15, we will begin seating ECE students, afternoon kindergartners, first- and second-graders, and guests.

DPS prices for adults who want to participate in this special lunch are $2.25 for lunch only and $2.60 for lunch plus a beverage. Prices for elementary students are $1.25 and $1.50 for children not attending a DPS school. Middle school student prices are $1.50, and high school student prices are $2.

The Arts and Craft Fair will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 4:30 p.m. Families, friends, visitors and neighbors of McKinley-Thatcher are welcome to attend! Reservations for the luncheon may be made by calling the school's office at 303-777-8816 by Wednesday, Nov. 19.

McKinley-Thatcher is located at 1230 S. Grant Street near the intersection of Logan St. and Louisiana Ave. Because of the TREX construction, it is best to approach the school from Logan or Broadway south of I-25. A map is available on the school's web site at http://mckinleythatcher.dpsk12.org.
