| Pastels, watercolors, sculptures and self-portraits are among the many George Washington High School student art pieces currently on display at McREL, 2550 S. Parker Road in Aurora.
McREL (Mid-Continent Research for Education and Learning) is located on the fifth floor of the Wells Fargo Bank Building near the intersection at Havana and Parker.
The art is on display at in the display case in McREL’s main office.
Students who have their work displayed include Piera Triolo, #2 of series, watercolor/ink; Maria Gonzales, self-portrait, pastels; Jerone Ingram, portrait, pencil; Andrew Hallett, Vegetable, Media: wire, cement, paint; Danielle Williams, Replicated Object in Clay, Media: painted stoneware; Katya Thronweber, Wire Foot, Media: 9 and 16 gauge wire; Lincoln Collins, Introspective Box, Media: glass, paint, plant, and found objects; Cassandra Hurst, Mosaic, Media: Computer Art, Painter 7; Noe Deleon, Learning to Render with Pencil (Sports Car), Media: ebony pencil; and Christina Najera, Learning to Render with Pencil (People), Media: ebony pencil.
