Congratulations to the Model United Nations team from George Washington High School for their outstanding performance at the Regis University meet on Saturday, Oct. 4.

The following students won honorable mention: Talia Moore for Chili, Sam Handler for Mexico, Rachel Nyberg-Hampton for Guatemala, and Doug DeMuro for Mexico. Best delegate awards went to students Marek Rewers for Angola, Jeremy Hayward for El Salvador, John Stanford for Mexico, and Enoch Arthur-Asmah for Columbia. Best delegation awards went to Kia Riedel and Japera Walker for the United States and Katie Duncan and Wagma Mommandi for Pakistan. In the Cuban Cabinet for experienced delegates: Hannah Chazin won honorable mention as the Minister of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation and Jackie Abrams won best delegate as the Minister of Economy and Planning.
