From 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, Morey Middle School will hold a yard and bake sale, one of several fundraisers planned this year to help 60 band and orchestra students attend “Disney Magic Music Days” in Anaheim, Calif. in April 2004. In addition to sale items, Morey band and orchestra students will be performing on their instruments for tips throughout the sale.

Intermediate and advanced band and orchestra students will have the opportunity to visit the Disneyland backstage recording studios, where they will rehearse and record music to be used as background music on a Disney movie clip. The music will then be dubbed onto a video, which the students will be able to bring home.

To donate items for the yard sale (furniture, baby and children’s clothes, toys, small appliances, books, CDs, electronics, etc.) deliver items to Morey after 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17 or after 7 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18.
